hehehe the poor things, but you have to admit it is amusing

It's been awhile

Well I realize it has been awhile since I've posted anything, but there really hasn't been that much going on here in NB. Well that isn't true lots has happened however, nothing really interesting, it's been sorta one of those things that you can't imagine where the time went.

We had a squirrel the size of a cat in our house, it jumped over my shoulder and scared the shit out of me, that I jumped on my chair and screamed.

My mother was gone for the week, which made me realize even more how much she has to do.

And my brother's friend crashed her rather large truck into our house, didn't dent the truck, but sure did some damage to the house. Will post pictures of the house and squirrels later.

Ok well DH is on, Eddie is too funny.

Look it's snowing in my back yard a normal thing in winter, however this picture was taken on April 29, 2005. Talk about crazy snow flakes those things were hudge!

On other news nothing new to report the river has finally broken up complety most of the snow is gone there is some green grass peaking through, and my brother is home from uni so a full house here (with no unlce jesse, have an uncle ricky though) and my Dad is funnier than Bob Sagette

April Already

How the time has flown, it is April already. I saw a robin today on my front lawn, which is always good to see after a long winter. The ice in the river has pretty much broken up with minimum flooding, which is good. I will try and post some pictures later so you can see the large chunks of ice.

Had a quite weekend, worked a bit on the basement. I have a closet now! Which is amazing, slowly moving my stuff in and their stuff out.

Happy Easter and Spring

I know it's been awhile since I have posted anything, I just haven't felt there was really anything relavent to post here. I shall try and do a bit more and keep you all up dated.

Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter and Spring! What a wonderful day this is, the sun is out here, and I can tell that the gloom of winter has been lifted and the green of summer is almost upon us!

Also getting closer to convocation, May 27 for those of you who don't know already. Hope to see you there.

that has been sick for ooooh a while now with the flu, I hope I never get sick again this year, it's only fair. I mean think about it I paid my time, I used enough tissues, tooks meds, drank enough tea to feed and army, why should I have to get sick again.

Life just isn't fair.

Watched 2 really good movies this week (1) Le Déclin de l'empire américain and (2) Les Invasions barbares

Also got a new CD one that I wanted for awhile but I just couldn't really get it arround here Scissor Sisters by the Scissor Sisters very catchy

ok the kettle is boiling time for my tea

Snow Day

Yea got sent home from work early due to snow

took me 20min to clean my car off, and I was going about 50 the whole trip home, took it slow the roads were so bad, almost wish i didn't go in this am but what can you do

ahh I think i might take a nap

Cleaning my Appt and over 1000 visits

YEahhh look at that, over 1000 visits and I have moved into my appt, even more so I am cleaning the bathroom which was sorely forgotten and just never used, its not too bad just a lot of dirt as it used to be our mud room

Made it through Week 1

That is right I have made it through my first week and boy was I exhausted. It will take some time getting used to being on my feet all day. That is right this is no desk job (which I am thankful for) I would go crazy if I had to sit all day.

I fianlly watched O Brother Where Art Thou, what a great movie I know I am behind a bit on certain films, but if you haven't seen it yet I highly recomend it. Also the soundtrack is amazing, especially the song O' Death, shivers down my spine when I first heard it.

Right my mom is out of the house for the Day a bit of a breathing space much needed cleaning will get done.

The work never ends, and it is freezing in this house, dam electric heating bill

2005 and goings on

I would first like to wish everyone a very Happy and Hopeful 2005, I have been thinking a lot lately (not too sure if that is a good thing ;) ) and yes I think it has somthing to do with me finishing school and soon to start work. The tsunami in Asia has also left me thinking, especially about how can I possubly help. While one can donate money to the relief I am still left feeling that there must be somthing more that I could do, I know if I was just to hop on a plane and go over there and show up and say ok what can I do I would be a complet fish out of water. Yet still I hate this feeling of helplessness, and even more so I know how lucky I am to live in this wonderful country and have a supportive family and well a nice life for lack of better terms, and I feel guilty when I complain about things that happen to me now, especially lately.

I can't tell you how disapointed I was in my govt when I saw that the US was only giving 30 million especially after Japan a tiny island country itself who knows the dangers of tsunami (a Japanese word) raised its original funding from 30 million US to 500 million US$. While I am glad to see that the US has raised it's original support from the 30 mil to 350 million $, none the lease still disapointed.
