Going Away

So tomorrow I am leaving on my first ever big drive into the city of HRM aka Halifax Regional Municipality aka I am going to Dartmouth to stay with my Aunt while i go into Halifax. Nothing against Dartmouth, but it's just weird to be staying there.

What really bothers me, is that everyone seems to think that I am going to get lost on my way there, gerrr am I not one of the most anal people around when it comes to planing things?

Went and saw the 40 year Old Virgin last night with the gals, talk about laugh my ass off, I was laughing so hard I was crying (which I normally do) it was raunchy as hell, but if that's your sort of thing, you'll enjoy it

Back to Bedlam

Flashbacks

Talk about major flash backs. I was in the dollar store the other night, when I saw the candy isle. Bottlecaps were the first thing that I saw and I got them. Total impulse purchase. They have changed the packaging from when I was a kid, they used to be in a bag, but now they come in a roll similar to sweet tarts. I had the weirdest sensation when I opened them. The smell a lone and the memories of being 5 on a hot sunny day in Halifax going to the park and stopping in at Roger's to spend that 0.25 cents that you got for the week if you were lucky. Talk about movie playing in my head. And then I ate one, total out of body experience was transported back in time, funny how smells and tastes can do that to a person. After 17 years the taste of bottle caps hasn't changed a bit.So if anyone has Bottlecaps, and they don't like the Rootbeer ones, I'll eat them!

The calm before the storm

Well I know that I have been that current with my postings and I do apologize. Right now I just feel like jumping on top of my little unsturdy table that I work on here, and yell at the top of my lungs and see if anyone notices me. With all these people telling me how busy they are and they don't have time, you'd think they could find a task for me to do. This whole month has basically been too quite. I have far too much free time. You'd think that would be a good thing, but I just know that there is something coming, what it is I don't know.

I am thinking of making the trip to Montreal the weekend after the long weekend. That would be nice, fun to see everyone, go out for good food, do a little shopping. Then in the winter time I am looking at going to London, England for a tour. Just a nice vaca to get away.

Things at home are crazy as ever. Guinness is a joy and blessing, who would have thought that a dog could bring so much love into ones life. I always thought those "dog people" were nuts. Well let me be the first to admit I was wrong! She is the cutest thing, and it's hard to stay angry at her when she looks at you and tilts her head. You just want to pick her up and give her a hug.

More later, just had a sudden burst of I need to type something. I am sure there will be more to follow

First Day of School

Well my baby brother starts his last first day of highschool tomorrow. I can't beleive that he is in Grade 12 already!!!!

Hi there ye who peruse my little site that I am sorry that I haven't really updated in awhile, I find that you get out of the swing of things and feel like you don't have much to input.

I have updated my links, you will see that I have another little site thingie for you my friends, it is easier for me to put my pictures up that way since I have changed computers yadda yadda yadda, there are reasons, so just enjoy them.

As all of us have heard now about the bombings in London, I would like to recomend the BBC website for news updates. It's a great site for news in general, so check it out. It is such a terrible thing, and I am lost for words

It's been awhile

Well I realize it has been awhile since I've posted anything, but there really hasn't been that much going on here in NB. Well that isn't true lots has happened however, nothing really interesting, it's been sorta one of those things that you can't imagine where the time went.

We had a squirrel the size of a cat in our house, it jumped over my shoulder and scared the shit out of me, that I jumped on my chair and screamed.

My mother was gone for the week, which made me realize even more how much she has to do.

And my brother's friend crashed her rather large truck into our house, didn't dent the truck, but sure did some damage to the house. Will post pictures of the house and squirrels later.

Ok well DH is on, Eddie is too funny.

Look it's snowing in my back yard a normal thing in winter, however this picture was taken on April 29, 2005. Talk about crazy snow flakes those things were hudge!

On other news nothing new to report the river has finally broken up complety most of the snow is gone there is some green grass peaking through, and my brother is home from uni so a full house here (with no unlce jesse, have an uncle ricky though) and my Dad is funnier than Bob Sagette

April Already

How the time has flown, it is April already. I saw a robin today on my front lawn, which is always good to see after a long winter. The ice in the river has pretty much broken up with minimum flooding, which is good. I will try and post some pictures later so you can see the large chunks of ice.

Had a quite weekend, worked a bit on the basement. I have a closet now! Which is amazing, slowly moving my stuff in and their stuff out.

Happy Easter and Spring

I know it's been awhile since I have posted anything, I just haven't felt there was really anything relavent to post here. I shall try and do a bit more and keep you all up dated.

Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter and Spring! What a wonderful day this is, the sun is out here, and I can tell that the gloom of winter has been lifted and the green of summer is almost upon us!

Also getting closer to convocation, May 27 for those of you who don't know already. Hope to see you there.
